Reviews:

3.0         Jecoup Asombrado (Pinoy Exchange)

So It’s You is your typical Pinoy romcom and there’s nothing really new to say about it. Not all elements in the Pinoy romcom checklist were put together cohesively but when it works, it makes up for all the flaws. ”  (Read full review)

2.5         Rito Asilo (Philippine Daily Inquirer)

“Lana breezily handles this hefty wedge of exposition and back stories, and comes up with a zippy and entertaining first act. Unfortunately, it goes off-kilter when implausibilities rear their ugly heads and, as a result, muddle the narrative.” (Read full review)

2.0         Oggs Cruz (Spot.ph)

“It is frustrating that notwithstanding all the gloss and grease (writer-director) Lana was able to muster, it all feels empty. It is as if Lana, who has already acquired the ability to merge charm and depth in his non-studio financed films, has contented himself with something that avoids all notions of heft and complexity.” (Read full review)

1.5         Philbert Dy (Click the City)

“The film just does everything a bit awkwardly. It takes too long to even get the couple together. It overstuffs the plot with all manner of unnecessary incident. And it can’t decide on a tone. It is a patience-testing endeavor from start to finish, the film unable to make much of case for its protagonists’ eventual happiness.” (Read full review)
