The intimate romance film Gitling, about a young Bacolod-based translator who meets the Japanese director of the film she is translating, and the mystical coming-of-age film Huling Palabas, the first full-length feature that uses Romblon’s Onhan language, topped the nominations for the 4th Pinoy Rebyu Awards, handed out by the Society of Filipino Film Reviewers, with eight nods apiece.
