Best Screenplay – Zig Dulay, Antoinette Jadaone and Jeffrey Jeturian for “Ekstra”

Best First Feature – Hannah Espia’s “Transit”

Best Ensemble – “Mga Anino ng Kahapon” and “On The Job” (When you distinctly remember each character in a story, then you have a great ensemble because their characters contribute to making the story whole.)

Best Cinematography – Ricardo Buhay III for “On the Job”

Best Score/Soundtrack – Teresa Barrozo for “Quick Change”

Best Scene – From “Ekstra”: After a harrowing day on the set where she lost a good role, bit player Loida returns to an empty home. She boils water for a bath, then transfixes her gaze on the table. She starts to eat the leftover food she took home from the set; then eats like there’s no tomorrow, drowning out her frustration and embarrassment. You could see all the pent-up emotions on her face as she masticates and swallows and weeps? The scene is short and line-free, but it packs a wallop. It showcases the emotional power of Vilma Santos as the seasoned and sincere actress that she has become. No lines needed.

Best Short Film – Jann Eric Tiglao’s “Onang”
