Reviews:

3.0          Don Jaucian (Pelikula Tumblr)

“Domingo doesn’t merely ‘light up the screen’ whenever she’s present: she makes the viewing experience more pleasant, giving you an idea that what’s playing in front of your eyes is the reason you forked out a hefty amount of money to pay for the ticket price.” (Read full review)

2.5         Cathy Peña (Make Me Blush)

“With a reed-thin plot that fuels this smorgasbord of genres (comedy, drama, horror, fantasy, action, adventure), the movie rests solely on the spirited performances of its cast, and its episodic endeavors at humor.” (Read full review)

2.0          Maureen Marie Belmonte (Manila Bulletin)

“Overall the film’s passable if you’re, say, 10-15 years old. But if not and you’re a fantasy-film lover, then this is not the flick to see if you don’t want to be disappointed.” (Read full review)

2.0         Ihcahieh

“Everybody is just so loud and exaggerated, as if they were doing theater. Ai Ai is loud. Eugene is even louder, but at least she has two other movies that redeem her from this ruckus.” (Read full review)

1.5          J.I.E. Teodoro (GMA News)

“The plot is too brainless and the acting is bad. It only confirmed my belief that Sotto cannot act. At the most, he is overacting. The great visual effects, except for the Shrek-like giant kontrabida because it is simply stolen from a Hollywood movie, were put to waste.” (Read full review)

1.0         Rolando Tolentino (Pinoy Weekly)

“Parang double-with feature (two-for-one) na value ang Enteng ng Ina Modahil pinagsanib ang pwersa ng pinakamatagumpay na franchises sa MMFF:  si Enteng at Ang Ina Mo na serye.  Purong fantasya rin ito dahil magagawa ng pelikula na plantsahin ang mga gusot at batayang premis ng pinaghalawang dalawang franchises.” (Read full review)

1.0          Philbert Dy (Click the City)

Enteng ng Ina Mo might be the worst entry of either franchise. It feels like far less effort went into this movie than any of the others. The filmmakers were content to just have the two big stars together on screen, giving them dialogue from other movies and pushing towards some ridiculous adventure climax.” (Read full review)

1.0           Carl Papa (Whatever, Carl)

“There were obvious continuity problems in the film and I think that the editing is to be blamed for that.  I find the sound to be problematic as well.  Not to mention the rather obvious visual effects.  The production design looked very cheap.  Need I mention the styro looking rocks.  Plus the shameless product placement!” (Read full review)

Comments:

2.0          Json Javier (Cinephiles)

“It’s actually better than what I expected. Given that, it’s still a corny piece of entertainment fluff that would have worked better as two separate films. Eugene Domingo steals the movie (as usual) and you’d wish it would have been called Enteng ng Ina Mo, Rowena!!

2.0          Mark Angelo Virly Ching (Cinephiles)

“I liked that it was fast-paced. Pero halatang mahaba siya talaga, kasi kitang-kita ang brutal na cuts. Eugene Domingo was pure comedic gold (watch out for the reveal scene where Eugene grabs a backdrop for dramatic effect). Also, I like Gwen Zamora a lot and I was happy that she had a lot to do here.”

1.5          Jay-r Trinidad (Cinephiles)

“Kung wala yung blooper reel sa huli, hindi ako matatawa. Obviously sa paper pa lang pinilit ang storya, pero pag napanood mo na sa screen. Nakow. Pwede pa namang maging cultish yung dating like yung last minute na pagdating ng isang ghostbuster o yung mala-chronicles of narnia na battle. Pero hindi e. Didn’t work. Plus yung fail spoof ng mga pelikula nina John Lloyd-Sarah pati No Other Woman na din yata. At medyo magulo din yung editing (pero sa kin lang yun). Wag nang magkaka-sequel. Sayang lang.”

1.0          Manuel Pangaruy (Taga-ilog Special)

“Natawa ako r’un sa spoof n’ung maid kay April Boy Regino. Mas malinaw naman ang patutunguhan nito kesa sa Panday 2, mas pangit nga lang ang CGI.”
